Migrate your existing Telegram channel

If you already have a Telegram channel, group, or bot audience, the goal is not to move fans to a new platform. The goal is to connect the Telegram surface you already operate to tease.bot so your team can run Inbox, CRM, AI replies, funnels, and analytics from one workspace.

The cleanest path for most creators is a channel connection: add @myteasebot as an admin, verify it in the dashboard, then route fans into the same Telegram destination they already know.

You need:

  • Admin access to the Telegram channel or community you want to connect.
  • A tease.bot workspace with onboarding completed.
  • A first funnel ready to test.
  • A test account that can message the flow like a fan.

Decide what the connected flow should feel like. Returning fans should not feel like they landed in a new product. They should feel like your Telegram presence became easier to reach and faster to answer.

Open Settings -> Bot Setup -> Connect channel.

Add @myteasebot as an admin on the Telegram channel and grant the permissions listed in the dashboard. Then return to tease.bot and click Verify connection.

If the dashboard stays amber or red, check the channel ID, admin status, and missing permissions before testing with fans.

If fans mostly DM your personal Telegram account, enable Telegram Business Mode as well.

Business Mode is separate from the channel connection. Channels and channel flows use channel permissions; private DMs to your account use Telegram Business settings.

From your test Telegram account, send a few messages through the connected route.

In Inbox, verify:

  • The fan appears on the left.
  • Messages arrive in order.
  • The AI assistant replies in the right tone.
  • Manual takeover works.
  • The first funnel offer uses the right media, caption, and price.

Fix problems before sending traffic. It is easier to tune one test thread than a live launch window.

Use the destination fans already trust:

  • Pin the Telegram destination in the existing channel.
  • Put it on your tease.chat smart link.
  • Update social bios.
  • Use campaign-specific links when you want clean attribution.

Keep the message low-friction. You are opening a better Telegram route, not asking fans to leave Telegram.

The first launch window gives you the best signal. Watch for:

  • Fans who clearly expect a specific tone or inside context.
  • Prices that feel out of step with the audience.
  • Threads where manual takeover is the better move.
  • Any support, safety, or payment question that should be handled by a human.

Use Take over a conversation manually when needed. Hand the thread back to AI when the moment has passed.

Do not rename everything at once. Keep your Telegram handle, channel branding, and public links stable while tease.bot learns the traffic pattern.

If you later change a channel username or destination link, update:

  • Settings -> Bot Setup.
  • Any tease.chat page that points to it.
  • Pinned posts and social bios.

Remove @myteasebot from the channel admin list or disable Business Mode in Telegram. tease.bot keeps the records it already has, but stops handling new messages from that surface.

You can export fan and conversation records from the dashboard when needed. Your Telegram audience remains on Telegram.
